Listed below are a series of issues that are of concern to English/literacy teachers in New Zealand. The list does not, of course, represent a consensus. (What is more, it is liable to change without warning!) The way in which the issues are framed is neither neutral nor authoritative. The references incorporated into the succession of anchored frames are necessarily selective and partial but also, it is hoped, representative.
